It was with great interest that I read your editorial supporting the use of credit cards in the Pinellas County Jail. So instead of paying a $100 to a bail agent you think that in addition to interest rates of 18 to 22% an additional charge of 7% is good public policy? I think it should be a violation of usury laws.
