To hear that you missed court and have a warrant is disconcerting at best but If you have concerns that this could be a scam, we recommend the following:

Go to the Clerk of Court website:

https://public.co.pinellas.fl.us

Click on public view.

Click on Criminal & Traffic Case Records

Enter your name.

Click on the case number with the W next to it.

It will give you the charge, bond, and date the court was missed.

WARNING!

We recommend not going directly to the Clerk of Court to verify a charge, as you will risk being arrested on the spot.

You may verify that we are a bail agency by going to www.actionplusbb.com.

Why do we recommend doing a walk-through rather than waiting to be arrested?

  1. Avoid the embarrassment of arrest in front of your neighbors or coworkers.
  2. You will not be taken directly to the jail but ride around in a van till it is full.
  3. You will be charged for the cost of your arrest and booking.
  4. After being booked, you will be searched for contraband and placed in prisoner clothing.
  5.  The more individuals that are being released, the longer the wait.

The walk-through process usually requires thirty minutes of paperwork in our office, no change of clothing, and an hour or two of processing at the jail.

Fingerprints and photos are done in a room next to the bond desk.

Once Tallahassee responds that you have no other outstanding warrants, you are free to leave and await a new court date.

Call 727-530-0146 to make arrangements and give us the necessary information to begin the paperwork.

If you have no money for bond, were hospitalized, or were seriously ill on the date you missed court, call us, and we’ll give you some options.
