Hillsborough jail inmate dies in apparent suicide

Gustavo Rivera, 26, of Brandon was found by deputies hanging by bedsheets from a ventilation grill during a fire drill at 3:45 a.m. Attempts to revive him failed, said J.D. Callaway, a spokesman for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.  Click here for full story.
